The P300 is an industry standard included in many access control kits. This is a proximity card reader designed to work with an access control panel, and is not a stand-alone device. The P300 is perhaps the smallest, most inconspicuous proximity reader available. It is designed to mount directly to metal door and window frames (mullions). Read range with the standard PSC-1 clamshell card is up to four inches (102 mm). The P300 includes a four state LED (red, green, amber, and off), an audio tone, and both black and off-white covers. Output types include both Weigand and ABA (clock and data).

The P300 can be ordered with compatibility with other brands of proximity cards. Order the "-H" model for HID compatibility. Order the "-A" model for AWID compatibility.
